Hike Ucka Mountain
Ucka has always been a favourite destination for many hikers and nature lovers. So it comes as no suprise that there are numerous hiking trails in and around Ucka and Cicarija. Ucka is the highest Istrian mountain separating the peninsula from the rest of Croatia. It is a protected area and a nature park. You can choose one of the marked hiking trails and get up to the Vojak, the highest peak (1396 m). You’ll enjoy nice views over Istria, the sea, and islands. If you are looking for adrenaline-pumping activities, Glavani Park is a place to see! It is only 20 kilometers away from our villa. It is a high ropes adventure park with 2 m, 6 m, and 10 m high rope courses, 11 m high giant swing, and Europe’s first suspension bridge across the valley. As the icing on the cake, you can descend on a 120-meter-long zip line, which at its highest point is as much as 20 meters from the ground. After it, you can continue on the most demanding part, the suspension bridge with a unicycle. That whole section, the zip line and the suspension bridge is called Devil’s Crossing.
